Visiting Aunt Cindy In Austin

Lance is out of town for a few days so me and the kidos loaded up and headed to Austin yesterday. We have been very busy since we got here. Yesterday we walked to the park with all the kids to let them play for a little bit...even Mo and Jo got to ride in the swing.

Then this morning after Charlie and Ben went to school we went to take some pictures in the bluebonnets.

Here are a few pictures Aunt Cindy took of Mo&Jo:

I have to tell everyone that I have some wonderful news to spread about a good friend who has been struggling with infertility for many many years. Jennifer and Randy Socha are expecting twins. If you are interested in keeping up with her and her family and this journey of pregnancy she is about to go on...you can find her on my friends list or go to www.bennielou.blogspot.com. I am so excited for them and can't wait to hear what they will be having...(b/b) (b/g) (g/g)?? Congratulations, Jennifer and Randy!!

In Our New Home

Lots of changes since my last post. We are Fianlly in our new home out in the country. YAY!!!

I no longer have my 2 babies...Nooo I did not get rid of Molly and Joey. I decided Griffin and Rocco needed to go to a home that could give them the attention they have been begging for ever since the other babies entered our world. Griffin has moved back to South Street with Eugene and Dee Bustamante and they have a little Yorkie, Sophie for him to play with. Rocco is living in Wharton with Marla, a lady that my aunt Jill works with, and she has a one year old Pomeranian for him to play with. Hopefully they are very happy...it has been too hard for me to call and check on them, especially Griffin. I have had Griffin for a little over 7 years and that was a very hard decision to make. I just hope they are getting lots of attention from their new families.

Molly and Joey are doing great. They love the new house and having Grandma so close to us has been wonderful. We went to see the doctor for their 4 month visit the other day and Joey now weighs 13.9 lbs. and Molly is 11.11 lbs.

Other family news:
My brother-in-law, Shawn is getting married. He proposed to his daughters mother, Abby Cartwright, in December 2009 and they are getting married in October 2010. We are all so excited for them and can't wait to go to Destin, FL. for the big day. That will be Molly and Joey's first real vacation. They have also decided to move to El Campo. They will be moving into our old rent house, that Joe and Suzy own, on South Street and I know it will be a great change for their little family.

I don't have much time right now...just wanted to give a little update...but next time I will post pictures of our growing babies!

Weight Update!

They went to see a Pediatric Surgeon on Feb. 4th. Joey now weighs 13 lbs. and Molly weighs 11 lbs. They are really starting to grow now. Joey will be going under the knife for his circumcision and to remove his ear tag and Molly is getting her ear tag removed also. A little nervous but I know they are going to be in good hands at Texas Children's. Here are a few pics!

Photo Shoot!

I tried to do a photo shoot with the kids the other day. DID NOT GO WELL! I got a few of Molly before she started fussing and then a few of Joey. Then here are just a few other pics.

Okay...so my computer is taking too long to download my photos for some reason. Going to bed. Maybe I can get the rest on here this week-end.

Mother Of Twins Prayer

This is a poem that Dory Labay had on her blog and I just loved it so much I wanted to post it on mine!

Mother Of Twins Prayer

There's two to wash,
There's two to dry,
There's two who argue,
There's two who cry.
One's in the mud,
Having a ball;
The other holds a crayon...
Another marked wall.
Some days seem endless,
My patience grows thin.
Why did God choose me,
To be a mother of twins?
The answer comes clear-
At the end of the day,
As I tuck them in bed,
And to myself I say...
There's two to kiss,
There's two to hug,
And best of all
Thank You, God, for two to love.

Wow! My Babies Are Growing!

Molly stares at Joey alot while they play...but I don't think Joey even knows Molly exists.:)

2 Month Doctor Visit

We had a great day at the doctors office. Wow-Wee are my babies growing! Molly is now 8 lbs. 10 ozs. and Joey is 9 lbs. 12 ozs. They got 3 shots each and only cried for about 5 seconds. I have been so busy lately that I haven't posted in a little over a month...but I have added some pictures from the past few weeks.

All dressed and ready to go to Thanksgiving. This was their first visit to Grandma and Grampy's house to meet all their cousins on the Wendel side then to the ranch to meet the cousins on the Freeman side. It was a busy day for all of us.
