My Glucose Test Results, Progesterone Injections And Our 18 Week Anatomy Ultrasound

These past 2 weeks have been amazing and filled with so much good news!

I passed my glucose test...so that is great! I am eating everything and anything I possibly can and loving it!

I had my first injection last Friday and it wasn't so bad. Didn't bother me until the next day. I got the injection in my right hip and that made my right hip and bottom pretty sore for about 3 days...but it healed just in time for me to get my second one today! But it's not bad...I can definitely handle them.

And the VERY GREAT AND EXCITING NEWS!

It's a BOY and a GIRL!

We were so happy to hear the ultrasound tech lady tell us the news. We couldn't stop smiling and just wanted out of there as soon as possible so we could tell our family the good news. But I'm happy we stayed...we got to see our babies hearts beating, their legs, arms, feet, hands and everything else. So far everything looks great! We could not have had a better day at the doctors office. :)

Now here are some pictures!

Here is a picture of Joey and his... Yup...It's a boy!

This is Joey's face

Here is the picture verifying our little girl is in fact a little Girl!

Here is Molly's profile picture

These are Molly's feet

I tried to put an equal amount of pictures of each of them on here...but my camera or computer is not cooperating. It thinks that some of them are duplicates...so there they are.

Official Names and Weight as of July 15th:
Joey Christopher (11 0z.) and Molly Beth (9 oz.)

Our Land Is Coming Along

I've been taking pictures of what is going on with our Barn/House...or as Suzy calls it...our Barndominium. So far we have just done alot of land work...but in the past couple of weeks we got our water well drilled and our temporary electric pole set up. The concrete guys are coming in about a week or 2...so things will hopefully start moving along a little faster.

Here are some pictures so far. Not really a whole lot to see!

The Pond Being Dug: Yes...it is Gianormous! A little bigger then we wanted...but we needed the dirt.

Our Temporary Electric Poles - Just set today!

And Last...One of our rolling hills...This is Billy's favorite thing out of everything we have done out there. We probably have about 3 groups of them. :)

4th Of July Week-End

This past week-end was the 4th of July. Billy and I had made plans last week to go to the bay for the 4th so we could be alone. The Freeman's were all going to Austin to visit Nicole, Bill, Lance and Cindy. Also, Suzy's sister, Trudy and niece, Katy were going to be visiting for the holiday week-end. Since they flew into Austin...Suzy figured it would be easier to just stay there. Billy was on-call over the week-end and I didn't feel like going and having to find a place to sleep. Plus Billy has been really stressed lately...I thought he needed a little vacation.

Before I really get to talking about our weekend...let me just tell you about a phone call I received Wednesday afternoon... REMINDER - I'm still on my diet at this time!

So here it was Wednesday at around 11:00 a.m., I had already eaten breakfast...everything except the egg and 2 slices of bread...just couldn't get them down. I get a call from my nurse and we start to discuss my diet...trying to figure out other things I can eat, that I like, that consists of all the different food on my diet plan. Then she asks me,"Are you planning on coming in on Friday for your test?" I was like,"Yes...that would be the reason for me eating 4 cups of veggies and all this other crap for the past day and a half." She replied with,"Well, the clinic is CLOSED on Friday. It's a holiday." OMG! I was so mad. So basically I should stop trying to eat my new diet and I will start over come Tuesday, July 7th. In a way I was relived to hear that. I already knew what I was going to eat for lunch like half a second after she said that. But then I got a little upset since I had already done the diet for almost half my time. I said something to my nurse that I normally wouldn't say if I had eaten a good breakfast and was in a good mood. But I told that nurse,"If I cold reach through this phone and slap you, I would. I can not believe I've been forcing myself to eat all this food for nothing." But after I ate the pizza rolls from Pizza Hut for lunch...I was fine. I was "Happy Christy" once again. So for the week-end...I was off my diet and eating all the things I love...like chicken spaghetti, Snickers ice cream bars and chips. (Oh and I even had a coke on the way home today :))

So as far as the week-end goes...it was for the most part pretty relaxing. Billy and I went Thursday evening. We hung out with the Bram's for a little bit and then went to bed. Friday morning Billy and Blake got up and went fishing and my sister, Sarah and her kids, came down for the day. They ate lunch and then got to swim for while and then headed home. Short trip...but a good one! That night we hung out at the Bram's again and then went home to bed. I went to bed before Billy and while I was laying there I heard an unfamiliar voice in the other room. Come to find out...Keith Beggs (a friend of Shawn Freeman's) and his girlfriend are at our house and need a place to sleep for the night. Okay...no problem! They stayed the night and the next morning they were gone. Until around 10:00 a.m. Here come Keith, his girlfriend and about 5 of their friends. Apparently they had planned on camping at Matagorda and decided not to. So they just invited themselves to stay at the Freeman's bay house, ALL OF THEM, Saturday night. They were there all day Saturday and that night. I lost my cool at one time...being that we were there to RELAX and they were clearly there to party. I walked upstairs at one time and I saw 2 people taking shots, 2 girls hula hooping in the living room, the music was blaring on the TV and my husband was cooking them all dinner. I got so upset and told them,"Thank you very much for coming and ruining my nice, peaceful week-end with my husband". Now...you would think that when you go somewhere to stay and you know that you are not welcome...that you would leave. Oh no! Not these people...they really didn't care if they are welcome or not...they stayed and continued to party. But Billy did make them go outside so I could at least get away from them in the house. A little later that night I was sitting on the couch watching TV (Top Gun) when Blake comes upstairs to inform me that Kieth was driving The Freeman's golf cart all crazy and flipped it. He almost went into the bay but luckily he didn't. The only thing that really happened was the roof of the cart was broke off. Billy repaired that today before he came home.

Our NICE - RELAXING week-end, didn't not end, like it started. Wish we could have had all day Saturday to ourselves...but no such luck!
