Joey's Surgery

This past Tuesday, April 27th, Joey had his ear tag removed and got circumcised. Everything went so good. We got to Texas Children's at 6:30 a.m., Joey went into surgery at 8:30, he came out of surgery at 9:45, was awake and drinking Apple Juice by 10:15, and we headed home around 10:45. We came home with him and he was acting completely normal...like he hadn't just had his ear and wee wee cut into. Strong little baby!! Wednesday was pretty good...but Thursday morning his bandage came off of his little penis and he was not happy about that. He screamed for about 30 minutes...and then the Tylenol must have kicked in, because he was pretty good the rest of the day. I am so happy that that is over with. He seems to be doing just fine today...doesn't even bother him for me to change his diapers. YAY!!! On the road to recovery!! It still hurts Billy to look at it though...so I have been in charge of cleaning it and changing all his diapers. Tonight I am leaving both kids at home with daddy so I can go to the baseball park to watch Casen's t-ball game at 6:00 and then Cullen's baseball game at 7:45. I hope Billy's stomach can handle it. :)) Good Luck, Honey!

Ty's 4th Birthday

So yesterday would have been my baby Ty's 4th birthday. I usually try to stay pretty busy on the anniversary of his death. So yesterday morning I got up and went to a play date at Britni's house. Then I went to Flower's Etc. to get Ty's birthday flowers for the cemetery and took them out there. After that me, Mo and Jo went home, ate some lunch and then all took a good 2 hour nap. At 4:00 we ate and then waited for Billy to come home. My dad, Sarah, Joe, Suzy, and Shawn all came out to the house and we planted a Teddy Bear Magnolia Tree in his memory. I was given a Magnolia tree by Payton when Ty died...but that one didn't survive. I didn't want to plant it at our rent house and it took me about a year to finally decide to plant it at the ranch. It was already looking pretty bad when we planted it at the ranch and I don't think it survived. I know for sure it is gone now since there is a big pond where we had planted it. Guess we didn't pick a very good place or it just wasn't meant to be. Anyways...we have a new one and hopefully this one will survive. I pretty much kill every plant I get, so hopefully Billy and dad will keep it alive. Oh and Sarah said she would call me every year on his birthday and remind me to water it. :))

Here is a picture of Ty's grave site. Thank you to whoever put the red/pink and white flowers out there, a while back. Not sure if you read my blog but if you do...thank you!!

And here is a picture of us and the new tree!

And just a two pictures of Mo and Jo.

Baptism

Molly, Joey and Kylie were all baptized this past Sunday. Pastor Joyce from the Methodist Church is leaving June 6th and so Sarah wanted to get the kids baptized before she left. It was a wonderful experience that Billy and I will never forget. I want to thank my good friends Ross and Mindy for joining us, along with our parents and my sisters Tracy and Sarah and their families. Them being there made an already special day ever more special.

Pictures

I have been trying to upload some of these pictures for about 2 or 3 months. Finally my sister-in-law told me to shrink them. So I did and now my computer was able to download them before timing out. Thanks Cindy Lu for that little bit of advice!!

Molly and Joey love getting in our big bed in the mornings and watching cartoons and mommy!

Molly makes some pretty funny faces sometimes. Not sure where she gets that from...I think The Freemans!!!

Molly and Joey always get so happy when they get in their stroller.

Joey...Good Times!!

We forgot to get pictures of the kids at Easter...so here we are on our way out the door. :))

Here are most of the kids at Easter...Kylie, Molly and Joey were all eating or sleeping and missed the group picture taking time.

Rachel came to visit us while she was in Texas on April 16th. Her and her mom, Nancy, stopped by on there way to EC from Houston. It was so good to see her even if it was just for a few minutes. Thanks for taking the time to come see all of us. We love you Aunt Rachel!!!

Here is Mindy, Kendall and Ross at Kendall's first birthday party. Thanks for inviting us. I had lots of fun visiting with everyone there that I hadn't seen in so long.

Visiting Aunt Cindy In Austin

Lance is out of town for a few days so me and the kidos loaded up and headed to Austin yesterday. We have been very busy since we got here. Yesterday we walked to the park with all the kids to let them play for a little bit...even Mo and Jo got to ride in the swing.

Then this morning after Charlie and Ben went to school we went to take some pictures in the bluebonnets.

Here are a few pictures Aunt Cindy took of Mo&Jo:
