Billy and I decided right after we got engaged that we were going to want a family. September 25, 2004 - Billy and I got married and started trying right away. November 2005 - Got pregnant! :) Everything was going great until 4/21/06. April 22, 2006 - 23 weeks into the pregnancy I went into labor and ended up giving birth to our baby boy, Ty William. He only lived for a few hours and then he was gone. We had a small funeral for him inviting just close friends and family. We were devasted by what had just happened. We had all these hopes and dreams already built up in our minds and hearts as to what this little baby boy may bring to our lives. We wanted all those feelings back...that is when the journey of infertility began. Billy and I were told we could start trying after 3 months. August 2006 - I started on Clomid and took that for about 8 or 9 months. Did not work. April 17, 2007 - Started seeing our first Infertility doctor. After seeing her for a few months we decided to do IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization). Not knowing what the cause was for going into labor so early with Ty was. August 1, 2007 - We did IVF August 16, 2007 - We found out it did not work. But we did have 3 embryos that we didn't use...and we froze them for a later time. October 1, 2008 - We decided to try our frozen embryos. October 15, 2008 - Found out it did not work. October 29, 2008 - Changed doctors. Now going to Baylor Clinic. December 23-27, 2008 - Vacation NEEDED! Went to Taos, NM and came home feeling good and more positive about everything! Life is good! January 2009 - Decided to try IUI (Intra-Uterine Insemination), also known as artificial insemination. Billy is our donor! March 23, 2009 - 2nd Round of IUI. April 6, 2009 - Find out I'm pregnant. April 22, 2009 - (Ty's 3rd Birthday) Find out we are having TWINS! October 29, 2009 -(Exactly 1 year from the day we started seeing Dr. Gibbons) Molly and Joey were born.
