I have decided to change Molly and Joey's cribs into toddler beds. Lately I have noticed that when they are ready for bed they go into their room and try to crawl up their cribs to get in it. I knew this wasn't going to be easy but I thought I would give it a try. I love SuperNanny. I watch it all the time and try to use some of her techniques. So last night I used her bed time technique...and OMG...it worked! It took about an hour of Billy and I sitting at the foot of each their beds and putting them back in it every time they would get up. But they finally gave up and fell asleep. We were so excited and so proud of ourselves and our little babies. They fell asleep around 8:30 and between that time and the time I went to sleep, Joey fell out of his bed twice. He barely made a fuss when it would happen. I just went and put him back in bed and the rest of the night was great!
And I just put them down for their morning nap and it was a little more difficult without Billy here to help...but they are both sound asleep and it only took about 25 min. YAY!!!! Hopefully after a few nights and naps like this we won't have to sit and wait for them to fall asleep.

"Trying" To Take A Nice Stroll With The Kids
So this past Monday I was playing outside with the kids and they kept trying to climb into their stroller. So I thought, okay, they want to go for a walk. I loaded them up and started to walk down the driveway to our mailbox. About halfway there, they both started crying and fighting to get out of the stroller. I decided to go ahead and go all the way since I hadn't checked the mail in a while. On the way back they were still trying to get out, so once I got to the turn that heads towards our house, I let them out...thinking they were just going to walk back with me. We had done this once before and it went really good. This time, it did not!! I let Molly out first, and as soon as I put her down she threw herself on the ground and started crying. I let her do that while I got Joey out. Once he was on the ground I picked up Molly and tried to put her back in the stroller thinking maybe she wanted back in since she got so upset when I took her out. But she got even more mad when I tried putting her back in the stroller. While I was trying to strap her in, Joey took off running fast towards 961. The wind on the prairie this day was REALLY blowing. Finally I got Molly in the stroller and started running after Joey. I knew I should have put the brakes to stroller on right after I took off running after Joey. I looked back immediately and the stroller was somehow still sitting in place. But once I got Joey and started to walk back to Molly the wind had picked up and the stroller started going the opposite direction. As I started to pick up speed to get back to it...so did the stroller. It was going really fast, I was thinking "Holy Crap, How am I going to catch it!!!" I took off running as fast as I could to grab the stroller, while carrying Joey. Right as I got closer the stroller it took a turn and went down the ditch...but I was able to grab the side of it before it flipped. OMG!!! I can't believe that just happened!! Lesson Learned!!! Do Not Let The Babies Out Of Stroller Until We Are Back In Front Of The House!!! Hopefully nobody saw that whole thing go down...but if you did...you owe me money for the good show we put on!! Hahaha!!
